Phumula Guesthouse is owned by a previously disadvantaged couple from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. The guesthouse was founded on the merits of trying to create employment opportunities for both the proprietor as well as the people of the surrounding area.

The guesthouse employs and provides training to previously disadvantaged individuals in an effort to empower them in attaining work experience in the hospitality industry as well as provide them with an opportunity to create a track record for themselves for any future job references.

The proprietor of the guesthouse, Mrs Gift Mokwena, is a woman full of integrity with a vision to help change the world one person at a time.
Her goal is to someday expand Phumula Guesthouse into a chain of exclusive guesthouses and hotels.

The extensive tourism options and relaxing scenic views of the Lowveld, featuring attractions such as the Kruger National Park, the Lowveld Escarpment (God’s Window, Pot Holes, Mac Mac Pools, 3 Rondawels etc.) and many others, offer our valued guest's an exciting plus relaxing gateway from all the activities of the cities.
